Yep, I am on hiatus on my Ranger until this is resolved. I can't get past about 10-20 mobs before a combo breaks.

Ha, I have no problem pulling faster than mobs die... I don't think the 2 second timer was counting on the power creep and some classes doing 30k+ dps.

I geared out my monk and talk about first world problems. The class is so broken it kills stuff faster than you can pull. At some point something went wrong between the dual wield and assorted monk buffs the class is completely OP. I guess I could gear out another char for comparison beyond just my bard but jeez.

I think so, specifically how it is boosted by having fist in primary. Equipping a mace in primary halves crane kick damage. I don't even have glitched boots and kick is 20k cone damage on a non crit every half second or so with a fist.

I suppose it's fine to have an OP class or two, people like varying difficulty.

I think Monks are just where every other class should be. You have a very solid power curve up through to end game gear. Once you're decked in BiS gear I think you SHOULD annihilate mobs. Warriors and Rangers, in my experience so far, are comparably powerful and they take even less micromanagement as your auto attacked frenzies just destroy everything on the screen.

Agree with this. Once youre BiS every class should be 5 pulling and just crushing it.

Monks, war, shm, rangers, and enchanters can do this for sure.

I'm watching Netflix hitting 1-2-d and killing stuff in Hell Nimgaul faster than I can pull. If I kill Nalatos with just boots on can we agree monks are OP? My bard can 5 pull but he takes significant effort to play and tops out at ~10k dps.

I am too lazy to gear my ranger right now but I find it hard to believe its comparable. If it is, power creep all around has just gotten too high.

I agree that with full BiS every class should be able to 5-pull in hell. Currently only a few classes can, and of those, monks are way better at it.

it's a combination of the kick damage is really good, and the amount you heal from those kicks is pretty absurd. One kick might heal you for 20% of your health even with only 40 life leech. How that works, i dono, but the healing is nuts.

I don't know, it depends on perspective. I wasn't always able to five pull on my monk, which I can't say for my bard. When I first got some gear on my bard, leveling wise I felt they were super OP. I was unkillable and did fine damage. As I already stated, I think other classes should just be brought up. Monks aren't that insane until late game gear unless you want to play the high stakes game of "will I get blinded or stunned in this swarm and instantly RIP?" Now that I have perfect gear, however, I just dominate and that's how it SHOULD be. Working your ass off for the gear, you should feel insanely powerful. Alternately, more difficult mobs/modes could be added as a challenge for people that attain such heights.

Druid set. Not totally clear what it does. I imagine it's +all damage equal to 16% of your thorns.

Mael, since updating the wiki with all these sets is quite the undertaking, can you just go through this thread and delete posts that don't have a pic of an item / completed set bonus so this can be used as a resource.

I tried it out the Mage staff on classes with a flurry effect and it doesn't seem better than Sentoth from what I've seen.
