I am going to try out this new library called velocity.js. It's supposed to be this god-tier DOM animation library which is right up my alley. This guy claims it makes big improvements on mobiles, too. So I'm going to give this a try tomorrow and see if I notice a difference. And if this is truly miraculous, it will play more smoothly on mobiles.
