Hello, I'm new... Just wondering, what does the cash shop offer? Is it pay to win? As a free player, what would I be missing out on?

You have to pay crystals to have more char slots and more bank space.
That's all - Nightmare and Hell difficulties and char respec - which used to cost crystals - are free (the latter costs some gold).

Is it p2w? I think not really, but I'll leave that up to you to decide. I understand that bank space is a grey area in this matter...

Bank space is nice to have but its definitely not pay to win IMO.

I officially try to keep P2W elements to a minimum. As of right now there's practically none aside from the legendary weapons that people technically paid for in the Kickstarter campaign. I am more interested in long-term player retention than in making a quick buck today and losing my player base.

I'm not saying that there won't be any degree of P2W elements, but there will be some to sustain the game. For instance I have been planning something akin to a resurrection potion that recovers some exp from your previous death.

I can see Beaster buying some of those in bulk. /shots fired.
