1) In rogue Backstab & Lacerate tooltips (and possibly on other skills which will be unlocked to me at higher level), it says something about gaining free "combo points". Don't you mean Technique Points? Anyway, I don't see my free Technique Points (or combo points) after using these skills in the manner suggested by the tooltips.
You might also want to check for other classes too, like some warrior skills use/generate "Fury" while other uses "Rage".

2) I realised this after the recent patch [45], that necromancer's Ignite Blood can now be cast without having a real target.
You might also want to check for every single-target spells in the game.

2) Female characters receive a bonus to wisdom and passive MANA regeneration, not "health regen" as stated in character creation screen. It seems that only a few races get this bonus mana regen to females.

3) Not sure if it is intentional but wizard's Magic Missiles does not level up Conjuration.

4) I notice my spells' cooldowns aren't affected by Skill Haste, so what does Skill Haste actually do?

5) I found out that piercing weapon give rogues a higher damage boost to their skills as compare to other type of weapons. Probably other classes too have this similar concept of getting a damage/heal boost when wielding a certain type of weapon. Can I suggest you to list them all in Wiki or as a tip during game loading?

Awesome first post. Lots of good catches there.

#1: Fixed next update. No idea how this has never been mentioned before.
#2: Fixed this. It's actually intended to be castable with no targets if you have 20 talent points in it thought. All AE spells can be cast without targets.
#2 #2: What makes you think this. I checked and it is a hp regen bonus. Not much. About 3 health per tick at level 99.
#3: Ouch. How did nobody mention this? Fixed.
#4: This is a common misconception and actually not a bad idea for a game mechanic. However skill haste only affects the global cooldown timer. It defaults to 1.5 seconds, but a lot of skill haste can make this very fast so you can spam global skills like crazy.
#5: This is a very unique case. Rogues get a passive 20 technique point bonus when using a piercer in the main hand. This means with lacerate, a piercer, and 100/100 full bar you are actually hitting with the power of 140 technique points.

2) 2) [LOL, sorry about the numbering.] I know I shouldn't have been quick to jump to conclusion but I don't have the means to test every character at level 99. So what I did was to create a level 1 wizard, of both sexes, and compare to each races available to this class. I found out that female wizard of Erudite & Dark Elf have an extra tick of mana regen as compared to the male ones and I was like "Oh, it's not hp regen bonus as stated in the character creation screen! It is mana regen and only available to certain race".

I am surprise when you confirm it is hp regen. Then I do a brief check on Human & Erudite as follow:

Level 1 Human
Male Paladin: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Female Paladin: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Male Ranger: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Female Ranger: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Male Shadow Knight: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Female Shadow Knight: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Male Bard: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Female Bard: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Male Cleric: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Female Cleric: 1hp + 2mana per tick
Male Druid: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Female Druid: 1hp + 2mana per tick
Male Necromancer: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Female Necromancer: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Male Enchanter: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Female Enchanter: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Male Magician: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Female Magician: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Male Wizard: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Female Wizard: 1hp + 1mana per tick

Level 1 Erudite
Male Paladin: 1hp + 2mana per tick
Female Paladin: 1hp + 2mana per tick
Male Shadow Knight: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Female Shadow Knight: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Male Cleric: 1hp + 2mana per tick
Female Cleric: 1hp + 2mana per tick
Male Necromancer: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Female Necromancer: 1hp + 2mana per tick
Male Enchanter: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Female Enchanter: 1hp + 2mana per tick
Male Magician: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Female Magician: 1hp + 2mana per tick
Male Wizard: 1hp + 1mana per tick
Female Wizard: 1hp + 2mana per tick

...Looks like something there is not right. Those are just level 1 characters. I don't know, things could be change at level 99 tho.

4) I saw a tip from the loading screen, it read "Any class can wear any type of equipment, but there are penalties for wearing armor too heavy for your class. Run chance, casting speed, and skill cooldown speed are all affected." Perhaps it would be much understood if you say 'global cooldown' rather than 'skill cooldown' to avoid confusion.

5) Now I get it. So that's what you mean by 'free combo points'. Hmm... somehow I feel those tooltips on rogue skill could be better re-worded.

Additional bug report:
6) I forgot to mention this earlier, necromancer's Feign Death has no cooldown as oppose to what it says in the tooltip. But I do hope it just stays that way without cooldown for my convenience! :D

#2: Alright here's what's going on. Remember that females get a wisdom bonus... well it turns out that wisdom helps mana regeneration as well. Now the reason the health bonus isn't showing up so much at level 1 is that this value is not getting rounded up. All of the potential bonuses get added up and then rounded at the end... but you know what? I have decided it would be reasonable to round this value up to assist in the early going. So, hey, there ya go. You'll see the benefit early next patch.

#4: Good idea. I should really stick to global cooldown as the terminology. A lot get confused and think it's related to the skill cooldown. Probably my fault. :D

#5: Yeah... probably. I changed it to an extra 20 technique points. Maybe say something like passive 20-point technique bonus. I did a minor tooltip rework again :)

#6: Uh, I think how it was is it wouldn't start a cooldown if you did it out of combat. I think for consistency's sake I'll just make it always trigger. Same for SK's.

Okay, I've just reformatted my pc (damn hard disk :x ) so I'm trying to recall all the possible bugs/issues I've encountered.
I don't know, some of these might be intentional game mechanism. I'll list them out for you to decide:

7) I remember a tip in loading screen says something like we can't dodge/parry/riposte special skills like Backstab, but is it possible for enemies to dodge similar attacks? Because I've seen them dodging my rogue's Backstab too many times a day!

8) Rest/Meditate hotkey still in display under Options (X).

9) A tip during loading screen which read "Rest/Meditation is the best way to recover..." need to be removed.

10) Shaman's Scourge ticks every second for 18 seconds instead of what the tooltip says.

11) Enchanter's Cajolin Whisper: Whenever charmed unit dies, player will be credited 2x experience, 2x gold, 2x kill for quest count, and chance to drop 2x items (especially from bosses).
Consider making this charm spell negates all negative statuses, somewhat similar to bard's Song of the Sirens to prevent further exploit.

However it is funny to note that Song of the Sirens hide negative statuses away while the charm last.
Thus, a bard can cast negative buffs on charmed unit but Siren will act like a magical barrier shielding the negative effects.
Once the Siren wears off/removed, negative buffs will take place for their remaining duration.

12) Wizard's Harness Ether does not level up Conjuration (or is it Alteration? I can't remember).

13) Wizard's Harness Ether amplify the next spell by x% damage as the tooltip say but auto-attack takes away the buff.

14) Wizard's Meteor secondary damage takes away encasement buff from Deep Freeze (and I think Harness Ether too).

Umm... I think that is all I have for now. I might be less active in the game due to my hard disk problem - need constant reformatting.
Maelfyn, I really need an online save! Right now will be a good time. ;)

Just my opinion, but regarding #14, I think it should stay the way it is, where the secondary ticks from Meteor break the encasement. Deep Freeze is already crazy strong.

#7: Yeah, this is a little perk mobs get. Yes, mobs can dodge backstab.
#8 & #9: Done!
#10: Nice catch... fixed
#11: I think I see what you're saying about double kill exploiting with a charmed mob... should be fixed for next update. I'd think enchanter and bard pets were affected the same way... it's the same charm flag.
#12: Ya... I think I initially had this turned off because it wasn't truly a spell... I turned it on since leveling conjuration is kind of a pita anyway.
#13: haha.. ok let me exclude auto attacks from that... know what's interesting is it wasn't exactly the auto attack causing it. It was the +elemental damage from your weapons because that gets processed separately as a "spell". Fixed next patch.
#14: Working as intended :o

Also, I fixed wizard's tooltip for Harness Ether... it completely forgot to mention that your mana regeneration is boosted while harness ether is active. The idea is if you can avoid using a spell, you'll regenerate mana quickly. I also slightly boosted the regenerated amount. 8-)

Regarding charmed pets - the fact that they keep you in combat can be really frustrating. While you have a pet charmed, after you finish a battle, your pet keeps you in combat so you're not meditating. This makes charming kind of tedious. On top of that, when trying to complete a quest, being able to cycle pulls for the last specific type of mob you need is really nice - however if you have a charmed pet,you can't do this - the first mob you pull each time immediately enters into battle. It can make finishing quests take a long time.

Perhaps this is intended though?

The best solution would be to just make quests automatically avoid giving you what you're maxed on. I would be okay with this.

Few things noticed last night:

- Buffs are now intermittently disappearing. Can't say for sure when it happens, but seems like when a blinking buff occurs (at least some of the time).

- Re-sizing the browser window or dragging the tab (at least in Chrome) blacks out the game - a refresh fixes it.

Having this problem as well in Chrome browser, refresh fixes but only back to character select screen. When entering game with any character screen blacks out, using a skill brings game back but background is still black.

Also, I noticed -% Silence Reduction is not applying properly. Some items have it listed, but upon equipping them, the value in the Character Statistics window "Silence Reduction" doesn't change.

Which buffs, specifically?

I've noticed mainly Mirror Images and Vizier's Shielding. I'm not totally sure the times it happens, but it seems like when my character has a debuff which is blinking (so getting ready to expire) it causes the other buff icons to disappear.

Actually, it appears to be any time a buff begins blinking, it makes the others invisible.

Not sure if its a bug or what, but on my female Gnome Necromancer I am able to equip any armor (plate, chain, leather) and receive full stats from it. Not talking "reduced weight" stuff, any and all armor.
Also since of last post, I seem to be receiving 0 experience from every other monster. (of level stuff in highest zone possible)

** Just checked other characters, it seems all of my toons can equip and use any and all armor now. (Was this always the case? I may just be dumb here. )

Anyone can wear anything. After all, what magical force would stop you from wearing something? :) You get a haste penalty, but that's about it. Go full plate mage and see how it works out. It's a viable strategy.

Regarding 0 exp:

Zone? Difficulty? Mob level? Your level? Mob types? Champion, rare, etc?

Thanks I figured I was being dumb, long time player of EQ live so not being able to equip armors out of class was creeping into my mind.

Viston's Redoubt 3, Normal, 44, 42, Seems random on types sometimes normals, champions/rares/boss show up as 0 xp .
After killing a few mobs just after typing this, now every mob is giving no xp, not even a message of 0 xp, just none at all. Trying a refresh and reload.

I bet you are getting some kind of error at some point. If you don't mind, open the console or the error log (CTRL+SHIFT+J) and look for javascript errors. They usually appear in red font.

Maelfyn, I know you are super busy, but when you get a chance, could you explain how the -% Silence Duration stat works on items? Specifically, is there some reason why the sum of the -%'s on my equipped gear doesn't equal the Silence Reduction % in my character screen? I have a total of -76% reduction on my gear, but it only reports 26% reduction in the character screen.

I'm hoping it's not working as intended, because as it is now, Nalatos on Hell is crazy hard (partly due to silence).
