Ranger set bonus seems really cool but I tried it on mine and their survivability is too low even with 90% status reductions and really high saves. I think I'll need to try out 60+ life leech to stay alive.

Key to Ranger survivability is going balls out DPS. I am using a mishmash of other class Elite set gear. (The set bonuses are weak vs the raw stats on a mix of class items) I have basically gone for a mix of +Crit damage, +Crit chance, and +Physical dmg. Granted, I am fortunate to have a Legendary weapon but shit just falls over dead with the quickness.

This is a high DPS example, but I can go continuous 20k or so unless I am popping Champions with +Physical Mitigation / Tough.

Wow that's a lot better than I was getting. Thanks for the info, I'll swap some gear around and try it out. It's a shame, I really like the fire/cold proc weapons and 6piece bonus.

Here is a longer fight (Guardian of Misery) and more typical 20k dps example.

Under 20k because he popped Iron Maiden.

Like I said, the set bonuses I find extremely weak.

You get far better gains just mix and matching Elite set pieces of random classes. Hell, I am wearing cloth on a few slots.

I am still nowhere near full DPS optimized. I have a few pieces simply for the +Exp Gain, as I am trying to grind out level 99.

Best bow I have is a Wind Saber, but currently using the trinket for dat fat +Exp gain and slight +Physical %.

Yeah.. Really wish bow was the main part of ranger dps.

Am with you 100% on the set pieces, though.

A couple of upgrades but thats about it as far as sets go as far as I've seen

With a lot of the sets full bonuses being shown now it seems monks are pretty much one of the weakest over all but I guess that's in-line with the fact that monks are one of the strongest classes on their own.

Also I'm having the issue Beaster is having with the necro set and the enchanter set as well.

Yeah, that may be too much Str and AH to ignore. I'm already using the bracers and gloves anyway as they're super well itemized as it is.

You can run full 5pc GM and WL by dropping either's legs or helmet and I think the optimal set up from there is GM Helm and WL legs, though I have neither WL or GM legs right now to test things.

I am slightly terrified about the possibilities of combining multiple sets. Not sure what the best possible combination is yet and, frankly, I didn't analyze this at all when I designed it.

Yeah that's kinda ridiculous. That set is absolutely absurd.

Worth noting that Monks have quite a few skills that trigger invincibility, so it could be an interesting choice for Monks.
