Hey Maelfyn,

It appears to me that when *elite rare* amulets/rings drop that they are not properly rolling with the elite stats. For example, in my chat box and on screen it will pop up that I have found an "Elite Rift Band Ring" but then when I go to my inventory all I have is a regular "Rift Band Ring" with no Elite label. I'm not sure if the stats are rolling correctly as elite or it's just a missing label, but this has happened a few times so far and I've never actually seen an Elite rare ring/amulet in game or on a merchant.

Elite UNIQUE jewelry does seem to be dropping correctly or at least the one ring I have found (Elite Ring of Winter) does have the label and stats to go with it.

Edit: Right after I posted this I found an elite rare ring on a merchant, so that seems to be working. I still haven't gotten an elite drop even when my chat says I did.

Okay, I fixed it. Basically there will be no such thing as an "exceptional" or "elite" non-unique versions of these items because I realized that actually makes no sense. Exceptional and Elite are references to armor/delay/damage. Stats these slots do not have (normally).

My cleric has some abilities that Grey out even though they are usable after fighting for a while, the smite does this more often then any other. It doesn't hinder you from using it, but is annoying :D

It also does this to my cleric, this is something that has been happening since before the last Patato got was lost to the crash of 2013 er when ever I played a cleric last.

As you can see one of the abilities causes it to freak out like this, I think its either guardian angel or Martyrs Blessing causing it. Not sure though.

There's a bug with capped stats and using armor above your tier. For example, if you have the max casting haste (60%) by a good 20% and equip something 1 tier above your own, you'll lose 2% casting haste, but you shouldn't because you have a large pillow of it. Also, Casting Haste capped appears as red, which is counter intuitive.

My Mage is level 66 at the moment, with a level 93 pet and he only does around 320 DPS with burnout and elemental fury always used. She should be doing much, much more. Makes it hard to be motivated to play her when I've worked so hard to have a full set of massive conjuration gear, all the work to do that and swap out gear and create a good steady rotation for little reward. The difference between a level 93 pet and a level 70 pet is nearly negiigble. In Nightmare Nagafen's Lair 2 atm and the pet is fighting lvl 65's and losing 2 bubs of life and taking over a minute to kill anything with burnout and overload.

Hmmm is the Ranger buff, "Spirit of the Wolf" not working for anyone else or is it just me? Its suppose to give me a 15% bonus to my Attack Power, but when I cast it now it does not up my Attack any.

Hmmm, after camping out, restarting my browser (Chrome) and logging back in I go it to work. Then after dieing and playing for about half an hour it stopped working again (no attack bonus). Not sure what the problem is.

Doesn't seem to be working, no. Then again, I never took the time to look in 97 levels!

Whaaaaa... ? I don't think it's even possible for Smite to grey out. It uses no mana.

Not sure I exactly narrowed this down, but thanks for bringing this up. The way the buff is calculated and applied was not perfect. It's now a 15% attack bonus buff for every class that has this spell. There are a lot of things in my initial design that I would love to re-visit and optimize, but I just don't have enough time. :?

You can see in the picture that it is grey but still the only spell I could use. When the fight is over the abilities go back to useable. In long fights this can become devastating especially in Hardcore.

It happens more then you would think, I believe its a combination of Martyrs, Searing revolation, Guardian that might be causing it, Though guardian is usually the last available spell to stay red, while smite becomes the only one viable. Its screwing with my Fung Shui :D

By "grey" do you mean "red"? Red means disabled by cooldown. Grey means no mana to use it.

Grey, as in no mana to use it, with a full bar of mana. Normally its a bright color.

I'll note these issues and address them in the future. Working on talents now.

I know how it happens because it just did it again. Right when I get stunned, If I hit blessing it causes all the abilities to go grey, or unusable, so when its red counting down, it gets to zero and stays red making unusable abilities.

Not sure whats up, I may just be incredibly unlucky, but I have still not seen a single Elite Ring drop from a mob. I see plenty on the vendors (usually crap stats) but I have not seen one dropped from a mob yet. I am still using rings that are level 12 and 14...lol. And honestly, I am not sure I have seen an Elite Necklace drop from a mob either. Using a level 22 necklace.

Edit: NM, I somehow over looked Maelfyn's post from above:

No elite rings here either. I'm using merchant rings myself too as a 97 Ranger.

Edit: Finally found one, but it's absolute garbage haha. Ah well at least they are dropping.

6%? It's not nearly enough to make it worthwhile compared to any number of rings with crit and skill stats though. It would need like 10% and maybe some actual useful caster stats imo, the stats overall on the ring are very weak. I find the caster class itemization to be lacking though. Physical classes hit more and get items with higher amounts of % physical damage bonuses. You have to ask yourself, how many caster spells have lightning damage and then among them, how many spells? What are their cooldowns? Will the tiny amount of + lightning damage on that ring for 1 or 2 spells better contribute to my character than something that helps all my spells and/oror just flat out adds more blanket dps?
