Thanks to the magic of databases, I will be able to share data like the most popular race/class combinations. I think I'll share this data around the end of the month. I'd still like to give it some time to allow some data to pile up, but it should be exciting to see what is popular and what isn't.

Interesting numbers. I'm curious how the popularity shifts if you only include characters played past level 10. Clearly everyone and their brother rolls a shadow knight and warrior to round out their character select screen. Do you have enough data to notice any trends with players losing interest in their class at certain points or with the game in general?

I haven't really noticed any patterns that would indicate that. It's mostly a pretty random spread of levels across most classes.

Out of the top 3 classes, we have SK, War, and Necro. One of those is SK and the other 2 are 2 of the 3 classes that made the first sprint for completion. The last one.. bard.. at the very bottom. I feel I deserve a cookie.

The bard is the only class that can fight 5 mobs simultaneously starting at level 7 and can chain cast an interrupt. Swetnhard's bard was the first (and only) character to beat Hardcore Hell. People are missing out on the roflstomp that is the Bard.
