Agreed! I've lost 2 hc Wiz in Hell , due to Iron Maiden and a badly timed maxed Charged Bolt
Only way to deal with it imo is freeze the mob first and then cast CB; do it on every boss, "vicious" champs (and I'm guessing rares too).

I swear Iron Maiden is the worst. If I look away for even a second while grinding away and a Champion casts Iron Maiden I die nearly instantly. RIP Zombie level 94. How are you Wizards in Hell handling Monsters with the ability to use Iron Maiden? I guess I just need to be more vigilant and stop watching movies while playing. At least in Hell. |

Got my wizard to 95, realized I can't chain, and insta-die to Iron Maiden, so I quit playing him until I can figure out a better way to do it. What Vezio said is probably the best bet...as soon as you see a mob with Viscious, freeze it, and hope you can kill it before freeze wears off. |

Yea, Wizards are basically 1 mob cannons. They are the most difficult, if not impossible class to chain. I gave up on my Wiz too after beating Hell. Absolutely NO WAY I can farm a damn thing on him via chaining. |
