I have a feeling I am going to be asking a lot of questions about this game so I figured I would start a thread for it instead of hijacking other threads. Here is my first:

Is there a chat that people are using while they play? Are there plans to implement one? Thanks.

I plan to implement that in the near-term. Plus I can feel like a deity and broadcast obnoxious messages!

When a common item drops does it have randomized prefix/suffixes like the Diablo loot system? If so, do those ever compare to the named legendary loot? I haven't been able to determine yet if there is even randomized loot.

Of course its randomized.

Blue and yellow stats are random... Rares (yellow) seem to get between 4-6 properties at random and they don't seem to have a level requirement (so keep them in the bank for alts)

Uniques/Sets (Gold / Green) don't have randomized stats.... They are fixed.

A well rolled rare can be better than a unique/set... Especially if you are doing some kind of specialized build.

Worth noting that rares can have up to 7 properties in nightmare and 8 in hell.

It certainly gives rares a niche to fill.
