It would make leech and wraith not work at all. Ho ho ho... |

The leech sounds scary, what's wraith though? |

This would absolutely ruin quite a few hardcore players. |

This is something I have had in the back of my mind for a while. I think leech doesn't work in Diablo 2 against undead. I kind of liked that idea, but I thought it was too ubiquitous. A champion trait would be perfect though. |

I don't like it, however if you do, make it very noticeable. Many heroes won't be up to task, and they might be better off fleeing such an encounter. |

Seems like they would be auto-flee/combo breakers for a lot of classes if the leech reduction is too high. Anything blighted with a damage shield would be crazy for melee. |

I've not a problem if they come with an increased reward. Consider them being called "Ancient" or "Seasoned" or something like that. Through years of hardship and slaying adventurers they've accumulated power and knowledge that has both allowed them to become significantly powerful, resilient and wealthy. |

If it's any consolation, I won't give it to a boss. |

To be honest, unless I get ambushed, mobs barely do much of anything to me. XD |

I like it. Even though its going to kill me for a 17th time. The more variety the better. Any chance you could make tooltips when you scroll over the champion abilities? I still have no idea what the majority of them do and i've played well over 100 hours. |

I too would like to see tooltips for stuff like that in-game but if you're wondering for right now there's a list of those over on the wiki |

Big nerf to warriors and possibly rogues. |

Seriously Mael, maybe leech is half effectiveness or the mob has reduced life. I can't imagine a blighted, tough, juggernaut. I'm even biased but making a leech immune champion if a huge hit to all those (most) classes that rely on leech for healing. #Bard4life |

Maybe make the leech reduction a super obvious temporary mob buff similar to iron maiden so that you can work around it while it's up? Otherwise, you'd probably have to pull other mobs to leech off of while bouncing back and forth to the blighted mob. Kind of a funky mechanic. Works if you overgear the content but while leveling/gearing up it'd be really difficult. |

Alright, seriously now. Is it really OP for a champ to be leech immune? Is hell difficulty so hard that a melee character can't survive a fight with one mob without leech? Come on... Yes, I am cackling with sadistic glee about some of those champ combos... blighted, vicious, tough? I'm not sure what the nastiest combo would be. But I like it. Hey, I just gifted you guys these amazing elite set items. I have to give and take here. And those sprinter champions were a total joke. |

Solution is obvious: stack hp regen. |

Tough champs or whatever can literally take 30+ sec to kill. That amount of time isn't going to kill you, but it is going to put you in a big hole to climb out of mid chain. That's my thought anyway. |

Leach is about 80% of warrior healing, so ya it would be death sentence to stay and fight. Don't take my word for it, clone a mid-level 90 fighter with reasonable gear, swap out the life leach trait on the gear for life regen or resistances and try a champ. Ironically for a warrior it might be safer to pull an extra monster/add to heal off of and grind it down with AOEs over the course of an afternoon. I think you over estimate the frequency of the high end drops. Not everyone can chain in hell to farm like that. IMO, The 'haves' will blow through leach immune champs and characters that are already struggling will just have a harder time. My level 97 warrior is still struggling to get good equipment to finish off Hell. I'm trying not to whine too much or ask for everything on a silver platter. Only thing I ask is you try it out and test it first before you implement it. |
