Have you thought about including Plane of Sky as a final end game? Like a bonus you can do after completing everything else? Would be so fun to try and progress to the final isle. It would basically be like 3 zones in one.

Uh, doubt it. Never really felt the love for Plane of Sky. Other zones are possibilities though. :geek:

All the characters you have now will not transfer, so you'd be starting fresh.

pfffft....sounds like we need a nice merge script!

Server characters will work a bit differently. For one the character data will be more secure. Firebug won't get you an all-access key to level 99.

sounds like a good idea to me...I would be willing to start over...=)

Would we maybe see some form of shared bank between characters on the same account? I've got about 30 Uniques with heavy nostalgia banked currently that I'd never use on Ceveris(SK) but wouldn't hate seeing on something else later lol.

I think you lost me there. A bank is already in the game and you can use it to share items with other characters. There's also a separate bank for hardcore characters. Server accounts will also have separate banks.

Yeah, sorry about that. I'll just chalk that one up to shared bank slots being in a labeled area on other EQ lol. I should have just made another character and checked it out, but I've been plenty happy playing what I'd started. Thank you though:)

Quests: Fast Travel
It would be convenient if when I looked up a quest and in the window that has the quests description, have a button that directly moves me to that zone, saving me from going to the map and skimming the zone lists.

Epics: Quested
I haven't got past 15 yet, but I've briefed these forums. I see the epics are in game, as a nostalgic nod you've said.
It would be cool if these items had their quests. Those quests were fun! and some had good stories. These quests could be as tough, or tougher than the main quest, like something to do for when you've already beaten the game. Like they become unlocked for your current class when you beat the main quest

Maybe. Not a bad idea. How lazy can you get? :) Maybe a similar good idea is to make the zone list on the map jump to your current zone automatically.

I think replicating the exact same epic quests from 14 years ago might be a bad thing. Not saying it couldn't work, but I think it would be better to explore original quest ideas. I already ripped enough of the classic experience!

any plans to flesh out Odus more? The Hole / Paineel / The Warrens / Stonebrunt Mountains / Kerra Isle? these zones weren't released when EQ first came out in 1999 (well actually Kerra Isle was but no one ever went there haha), but they weren't tied to any expansions... all you needed was base EQ to gain access to them once they came out.... didn't need to buy Kunark / Velious / Luclin or anything.

Nobody likes Odus, friend. It's a bad place.
