Post subject:  9/17 Weekly Development Update

9/17
- Paladin skill animations are done.

9/18
- Warrior's Triage and all Slam abilities had their animation changed.
- Champions now have a 1/12 chance of appearing. This should be more frequent at most levels.
- Finished up Shadow Knight melee skills.

9/19
- Added an option to enable or disable sounds. There is only one sound at this time (leveling up).
- Finished all Shadow Knight skill animations.

9/20
- Finished Ranger's melee skill animations. Their spell casting animations were also finished, but not the spells themselves.

9/21
- Finished Ranger skill animations.

9/22
- Finished a lot of Bard skills. Should easily finish them tomorrow.
- Fixed Bard's Lucid Lullaby. A bug caused the sleep to last for eternity.
- Sleeping mobs can no longer run away. 8)

First off, Loving the new Pally animations, like the spell casting , and can't wait to see what you do with wizard, necro, enchanter and mage. Liking the level ding, brings back old times. I have no clue how you plan to pull off the bard songs. a graphic every time a song pulses will be like a dance floor on the screen :D

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, Bards. I have no idea what that will look like lol! I can't wait to add more sound effects. Sound is a real pain in the ass so it's not working in all browsers right now. Also, I can't WAIT to add more sound effects. I have almost all of them from classic EQ, but I'm missing a few like gorilla, crocodile, cazic thule and a few others.

Dude it will be awesome to hear a gnoll yelp when you hit it. I was a Qeynos newbie when eq came out back in 99.

Sorry for no vids lately, I just started work working 7am to 3:30, I wake up at 4am to get there early, and have been doing some tutoring on the side for some extra scratch. Will try to do some recording this weekend. Noticed the change in warrior's debuff :D Just have to make sure I have 4 mobs at the same time to keep my ticking constant.

I need to move gear to my pally tonight.

Cool, good to know man. Keep up the good fight. Yeah, I have all of those sound effects. Gnolls, orcs, everything. So awesome.
