Post subject: | Dec 10th - Weekly Development Updates |
The following updates are guaranteed to be live on 12/17. In many cases, these changes appear whenever I upload them: - Nerfed Warrior's Avenging Strike's regen by 50%. Stop complaining. It's still OP! - Fixed Wizard's magic missiles. Regen is stronger, but its cooldown refresh component was removed. - Many settings are now global across all characters instead of character specific. Some examples are sound and music volume, tooltip mode, and graphic settings. - Fixed a bug that caused empty "spacer" buttons to not appear properly when switching between characters in some circumstances. - Error messages will now appear in red in the center of the screen instead of in the normal log. - Made the menu some usability enhancements. The tooltips now indicate the hotkey and obstructing windows are automatically closed if you open a window. - It can no longer rain in indoor city areas ;( - There are now exciting new sound effects when upgrading an item. - The cost of training skills has been greatly reduced. Though the cost will increase if you reach certain break points due to the increased difficulty. - Giving the town NPCs names. Town bros need names. - Laying the foundation for a quest system. - Upgrading an item successive times updates the cost and upgrade message properly. - Successively training a skill will trigger prompts with the new price for the next training upgrade automatically. - Several skills will no longer appear on items until mobs reach a certain level: dodge, parry, riposte, dual wield, and double attack. They will appear later since these skills are not unlocked until later. Early in the game these stats are completely useless for new characters. - New GUI upgrades were made. Most windows are now translucent and draggable. They also take up less screen space. |
