Looks like three people have cleared normal difficulty thus far. Amazing work. I don't think Tumbler posts (?), but it's fun to see how people are progressing. Particularly with nightmare because I've spent very little time testing it!

Any general feedback on the almost completely untested nightmare? I think you said it was pretty good in terms of difficulty/balance.

I think the blue mob rate is higher in Nightmare than Normal, no? It gets real tough at times. Maybe up the top end "normal" items drop rate a little, I'm still using a Ghoulbane for secondary at level 70 since I can't find anything better and my DPS is crap for the moment.

Yeah, I think champs are 1/6 in nightmare or 1/7. On the bright side they're also 220% exp.

I tried out the quest for Phinigel Autropos. It was not pretty. I would rather not go into too many details...He did things too me...**sobs quietly to himself for a few minutes.

Ok, I feel better now. I might suggest adding some time to his casting rate. It seems like all of his casts are pretty much insta and I was not able to interrupt any of them. Without interrupting his casting, the fight is over very quickly...And not in a good way. Still have not been able to come close to beating him.

What's your level and what's his? Level helps a bit.

Looks like you're 74. So you have a 5% damage reduction penalty because Phinigel is level 79. That's probably not enough to win the fight. Also how are your lightning resists looking?

I am on a different computer, so I will need to check resists when I get back on that character. I have a feeling this game will be similar to Diablo 3 where boss mobs start out next to impossible, but get much easier as your gear improves. I count that as a very good thing in game design. I will say that if none of his spells can be interrupted, it will probably be a while for my gear to match up. And yes, I know new gear is steadily being released, so no complaints there ;)

As for level, the only problem on that part is I completed all of the normal quests around level 69 or so. Since then, I have had to level up by grinding. Would it be possible to open up a few more quests in Nightmare that could be repeatable? It would help reduce the monotony for future players.

That's a pretty good idea. Especially stuff like lguk, kedge, sol b, and even mistmoore. After all, I called the damn game NeverGrind.
