Anyone else found that upgrading your equipment between level 40ish and level 80ish is near impossible? There needs to be more items (particularly once you start nightmare) that are required level >40, >50 and >60, etc. I was twinked, yes, but only by a 45 Mage and yet my Ranger is nearing 80 and hasn't seen a single upgrade since the 30's. She's found over 200 uniques. I feel like nightmare is not itemized properly? Maelfyn, are there items in the DB that can only drop in Nightmare or above? or is that not till hell/elite?

I can confirm that items drop based on mob level, not difficulty setting. Normal bosses can drop exceptional uniques.

Hmm how come I've had level 30 uniques drop off of level 3's in Normal though?

And yeah I have a dozen or more exceptional uniques from normal vox so that's for sure.

As I reported earlier, I have gotten 4 level 32-34 items from high teen mobs on Normal. All of them were hats, for what it's worth.

Hats in particularly have wildly screwed up drop logic. I can confirm that.
