Thanks, yeah steadily making progress. My levels shot up quicker because i hit a couple dungeons that were filled with upper 40/50 mobs instead of the upper 30-lower 40's that show up for a lot of the outdoor and early dungeons.

btw, west karana sucks. There's so many filler monsters there it makes that quest take forever for 10 runners. When i got to about 6-7 i just stopped the chain and pulled monsters from the out of combat menu till i would get a runner.

Haven't picked up any exceptional replacement gear yet but that should be coming. I'm probably way above the level i should be for completing nightmare but i'm just plowing through zones as i can. Most of the outdoor zones are done, finished some of the earlier dungeons and now starting to head into places like permafrost and mistmoore.

I think i need a macro/hotkey button to swap my summoning gear in and out. I was up to 7 pieces until i found a better SMR with +conj on it. Just glad i only have to switch items when i need to summon a new pet.

Yea with quests like west karana, I don't even chain anymore. I am power-managing zones now with my cleric to get all the bonus's. So I don't kill unnecessary mobs.

How are you doing on Mana/Life leach Gear? I think that and Int/dex gear are your primary stats your going for other then your Conjy gear.

I don't really pay any attention to them. Life leech doesn't activate on spells and i'm casting almost 100% of the time so i'm rarely swinging. Mana leech is pretty much unneeded though i do have a fair amount of +mana on kill i think, lemme check

Yeah right now i have
+3 life leech
+10 mana leech
+4 health pet kill
+29 mana per kill.
I don't run out of mana. Plus as a gnome i have the racial ability which i can pop along with manashield to crank my mana back up quite a bit as needed. Plus i use sacrificial dagger which has brain hew, so on the rare time i'm swinging i do get a bit of mana back from that. Funny thing is, the only thing i run out of is my damage shield in long chains due to it's duration. But that does so little damage i don't care too much.

Maybe once i get some exceptional gear replacements i'll start picking up things but my main focus was on +conj,int +evoc, and resists. I use the air pet which cuts down on spells hitting me a bit. If spell damage worked with the leeches i'd definitely crank that up. But as it is it doesn't seem to it hasn't been much of a concern like it would be for a ranger or melee classes.

btw weird thing i just saw. My pet (currently level 80) had engulfing darkness cast on him by a necro in najena 2. It was doing -8 damage a tick.

Not sure the cause of that, and it was nice the necro's were healing my pet, but probably not the way it should be i'm guessing?

Sounds like you got it going sir, once I get my cleric to the 90's in normal, I plan to take him and make a Hardcore version. Keep at it sir.
