Mael, how do the skill stats like evocation and conjuration effect wizard spells versus INT?

Also does Skill haste or attack haste effect the way spells are calculated at all?

Not at all. Casting haste is all that matters. Okay, for the moment casting skills are king. Int and wisdom have some effect, but it's really no comparison with the casting spell ability. But, expect this algorithm to change so that int and wisdom have a bigger impact before version 1.0. I came to realize I made intelligence matter too little.

Will life leech and mana leech ever work with spells?

It's a damage amplification spell. You get it at 28.

Oh, that's harness ether. Im level 44 now, so I guess I'm maxed out on spells now. I'll be interested to see what the talents are like.

Probably damage and damage. Wizards after all 8) Probably aligned along specialization with different element types.

I'm hoping there will be something to make up for not being able to use life leech. Basically it goes like this: Pull 5 mobs, hope they don't kill you in the time that it takes to cast frost nova, amplified meteor, chain lightning, fireball before iceblocking and cleaning up. Then you have to med for a minute or two. There is no chain pulling because outside of iceblock there is no way to get health back.
