It is called barrier of force. Is it the wizard epic? I cannot remember.

Adds 355 shield hit points. haha... oh man. I just realized this can be exploited if you are ridiculously determined...

It's going to SET your shield hp to 355, not ADD.

Hey I have a 97 monk, maybe I should try it out before the nerf lol. Regardless, monks are invincible without it.

I'm having a hell of a time figuring out how to make casters remotely as viable as classes that rely on weapons. I'll be excited to see what you do with necros and the rest of the crew. What order does it go from here with talents?

Focus modifiers need to be added like they did eventually in eq1 and every other mmo since.

Would be a easy way tp make pets more than speed bumps, would allow more customization that just talent lines, etc.

How would focus modifiers function?

Item could come with specific ones or multiple.

First ones you ever really saw in eq1 were mana preserve and pet focus ones. Mana one would save a % of any spell casts mana on every cast while the pet ones would increase the pets lvl, inate stats, and eventually change their graphic and also add new spells the pets could use themselves.

It would add a whole new layer and decision making for what items youd want to wear but it would add lot more work to Maelfyn's table since hed have to redo some item coding and spell/slill coding to get them to work and then possibly add in all new code to tie everything together.
