Never had this happen before, but now my audio is severely delayed!! So much so, that I have had to mute the sound as it is quite distracting to hear sound from 30 seconds ago. Any ideas?

Probably bad network performance that day? The audio streams on the fly, so if your network isn't downloading fast enough you'll hear it late. You might especially notice it the first time you hear a sound effect because most sounds are not pre-loaded unlike most of the graphics. The 2nd time you hear a sound effect, it should appear to be instant.

The more I think about it, it seems like a weird problem. Once the sound effect downloads once, it should be instant from that point.

Seems odd as it has never been an issue before.

No clue if this did the trick, but I upgraded windows and now the audio is perfectly normal. Go figure.
