Hi all, I have a monk, now level 31, I have been trying very hard to complete as many of the strings of quests that I can so I can get the permanent stat bonuses. I am finding out that even though I can breeze through the normal mobs I keep getting flattened by the boss + 2 set-up that seems to be happening in these low/mid level quests. The ones I have tried so far are Unrest 3 and Upper Guk 3. I just cannot seem to 1. kill the boss fast enough to win without dying. 2. kill the adds quick enough to get the boss on his own without more adding. I am typically able to get the boss to about 1/2 of this life before my ability to heal is overcome by the damage I am taking. I do about 100 DPS using 2 unique 1hb weps. I have no yet found any good 2hb weapons that would up my damage significantly. I have crane kick at 20 and am working on maxing tiger strike next. I have 16 AC chain boots. I have 796 atk 739 armor 783 health Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. |

100 DPS at level 31 is pretty debilitating, but it has been so long since I have been untwinked and low level that I cannot remember if that is normal. My suggestion was going to be work on crane kick, but you seem to have done that. Do you have fear yet? Fearing one boss while working on the other is a good strat. Also keep your stone fist for when your cobra strike is on CD (which you may not have yet). I definitely remember leveling my first toon and getting my shit kicked in quite a bit. |

Does it still work where if you kill one and exit combat when you come back the other will be alone? edit: Yeah it still works, went and tested in LG Dump everything in to killing the easier one and then start trying to feign/run away. Re-start without the add. It will still usually spawn another add, but not the named meanie. Can try running away and coming back until the add is something manageable instead of some jerkass caster=P Sometimes you will just be boned and they will go bonkers and kill your face. |

This actually did not work for me. It was not 2 named but 1 named and 2 normal mobs that were taking me out. I just went to other quests and leveled a bit. When I came back I was able to squeak through. |
