So this is something that has been on the back burner for a bit. I didn't really like how conjuration only affected your pet when you summoned them. This ended up making it so people had to find a set of conjuration gear to summon pets, and then just swap to something else for normal fighting. As a player I know how extraordinarily cheesy and lame this tactic is, but if it works you kinda have to do it.
I want to get away from this design so here's how it works now:
Conjuration no longer affects your pet's level. Pet's level is only affected by YOUR level, so don't even worry about level. However your pet's defense and strength will be affected by your conjuration. This means that your pet will hit much harder with a lot of +conjuration (or all skills) gear. Additionally, they will take less damage if you have high conjuration. This means you will have to wear gear with conjuration if you want your pets to kick some ass.
I think this is a much better design, but I am open to your feedback as well. Feel free to provide feedback here. This change is NOT live yet.

Like, they hit harder etc if you are wearing the Conjuration gear currently and if you drop it they start hitting weaker? Or is it just what you're wearing when you summon them? Because if that's the case we're right back where we started=P

It looks at what you're currently wearing.
