When you have completed a quest with a named mob(s) as the final part of that quest ... are the named mob(s) put in the respawn cycle for that zone? ... in other words, if i continuously press the 'Select Battle' button, will they respawn?

That's a bug that's known to happen sometimes due to my insanely bad quest design. Quest mobs should only appear when you are at a certain part of the quest.
