I was thinking that in the future maybe adding quest lines for class specific EPIC weapons. This would be freakin HUGE! Maybe start the quest line when we reach level 50. And since the boss mob quests are repeatable, have them drop rare components that are needed for the weapons. Damn im a genius ... how about the wizard epic ... Zarky's Staff of Elemental Destruction ... Awesome! =)) just a thought .. LOL |

This comes up quite a bit. People seem to really want specific weapons that they are supposed to use in the way the Kunark expansion instructed players to get a specific item. Honestly, I am really against this because I don't like to guide players so specifically when it comes to gear selection. Instead, I like giving them a broad variety of choices and letting them decide what is best. Besides, each class can have very different talent builds which would favor different kinds of weapons, so the idea of an epic quest for a weapon doesn't really fit with NeverGrind's game design. On the other hand, I could see something like some kind of rare epic encounter finding its way into the game at some point. |
