Maybe I should just move the button's location so that won't happen. Double confirms would get annoying, too.

You could add an option to enable quick destroy.

This just brings me back to the time when I was in a haste to loot my long-decaying corpse in plane of fear. This was back in the era when it was still relatively new and my corpse was in danger of completely rotting since I was not able to access it for a week or so (decay time was much longer, but I didn't know that).
In my haste, I looted my corpse so quickly that I accidentally destroyed one of my SSoY... Sucked bad because those were about the best thing you could get in those days. Thankfully, I had a backup Electrum-Bladed Wakizashi due to my unhealthy amount of time spent farming Castle Mistmoore.

Easiest thing to do would probably be to make it a double-click instead of a single click.
