I'm not sure if im just new to the game or this is non-existant, but i'm getting gear and leveling up and im liking this game quite a bit... but then i get an item with "evocation" on it so I think that sounds interesting, go to character to try and hover over stats for a tooltip and nothing comes up, so im here not knowing what it does or anything... lots of them are straight forward like silence reduction, armor, etc.... so is there a way to figure out what each stat does? either way can we get a tool tip for hovering over stats in character tab? TL;DR No stat tooltips, idk what evocation does |

ah, since no one answered you... Evocation, Alteration, Conjuration, and Abjuration are casting skills. If you have a spell you can cast, you can hover over the spell itself and see if it's an Evocation spell. If it is, having a higher Evocation skill boosts the spells damage, healing, or whatever else. Some buffs don't benefit even if they're part of that skill, like Spirit of Wolf I think. Bards are unique in that they don't have those four, but instead of Singing, String, Wind, and Percussion, but they work the same in the way the skills affect the songs. |
