I tried to add my game to Giant Bomb's game database so that I'd be listed for Twitch players. I received the most bizarre response from the moderator:  How the hell does one plagiarize the description of your own game? ??? What in the world? Honestly I was super pissed with this response and they didn't even tell me what I am plagiarizing. Secret evidence and juries, it seems. Things like this really piss me off sometimes. Is the whole gaming industry a giant racket? omggggggg

i bet you "plagiarized" yourself. maybe they're dumb and just use google for their plagiarism check. |

That's really messed up how they wouldn't even show you what they claim was plagiarized. I get the feeling that wiki is run like an FPS server - just banning people because they feel like it. |

Pharmakos nailed it, you probably repeated your description by reflex, as I suspect you've had to type out a lot of descriptions for sites lately. All it takes is one string of words and a bot will flag you. Kind of lame, but.. I guess its the only way they can actually check. |
