Okay, it's pretty much ready to go. I'm going to shake off shoutwiki like a bad case of fleas. Their shit was slow and I had limited control over it. Plus there are so many reasons to own your own wiki... ad revenue, control, SEO optimizations... etc. I am writing off that old wiki data as a loss since I'm too retarded to figure out how to import their XML file. Honestly there wasn't much of value on the wiki anyway, so we can start fresh with version 1. There was a lot of old EQ info in there. |

I think we should definitely list level requirements and weight on each item's page as a property. I'm also considering we should convert them to mediawiki categories. Like so: https://nevergrind.com/wiki/index.php?t ... egory:Neck I just added [[Category:Neck]] to the bottom of all neck items and then you can go to a page where all normal quality neck items are. TIL: This is how you link to a category page: [[:Category:Neck|Neck]] before the bracket is the page link. After the bracket is the name shown for the link. |

Hm, maybe instead of re-inventing the wheel here, I'll just add these categories to all of these existing pages. That way people can opt to browse via the categories. It's kind of nice to have the armor/req level on those armor tables for fast browsing. |

Kind of a fire hydrant of updates here, but it is what it is. I'm going to put ALL helmets in the same category. Regardless of quality. I think this may be helpful for some. That way they can link to normal, exceptional, elite helmets all on one page. I think this is the way to go. |

Hah, Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I've been not adding the categories as we go along but I have been doing [[Boots]] which should link to the Wiki Boots page directly once it gets added. I need to find a way to make something like an excel entry script that you enter the item stats and it prints out the wiki code for you. That would be EXTREMELY helpful and time saving right now with as many items as I keep adding. |

The problem with the "dropped by" field is that could be misleading. It depends on monster level and nothing else. A lot of action RPGs work this way. |
