I am curious what everyone plans on going first for release/early access? I was thinking on going Wizard in Hardcore for a challenge and the fact that I really enjoy all of their skills. What is your choice? |

I enjoy the tactical control and big burst damage of the Rogue. It's really satisfying surviving a double ambush on it. I haven't tried the Wizard. What's fun about them? |

I enjoy the big burst and honestly the ambushes can be a little hard to handle but with enough spell speed and the ever lovely +35% speed on their Vizier's Shielding talent it makes it like a very rapid fire game play. Though I will admit, getting through Nightmare was a bit of a struggle without some hardcore farming. Pretty much needed all my gear at max upgrade capacity and whatnot. Plus if you're a Dark Elf Wizard, the Dark Elf racial stacks with spell damage so you can use it with Magic Missiles and Ice Block to have a lot more sustain. At least, if you can spike down any monsters and counter casters before they actually do anything. |

Probably make a wizard or rogue to farm, but eventually want to play an enchanter. Mainly because I don't believe they can be any good? Admittedly I haven't played one very far. Does anyone know if charm still keeps you in combat? |

Yep you don't lose the chain but the out of combat regen doesn't kick in either. There's something delightfully goofy about the enchanter combat with the hasted charmed puppet rapidly bouncing around as you throw enemies into the air. Here's a close approximation of the combat narrated by Stamper. |

I'm relatively new and I've tried out only a few classes atm; that said, I'll go with SK on hc and Mage in sc for my first round. |

I'm surprised at how many people are rolling HC. I can't see myself playing HC as some deaths are simply unavoidable. A triple ambush in a late hell zone you've got 1 chance to run, even with high run % you're still looking at 60% chance of failing and dying. I'm not sure on class yet, I could probably narrow it down to 3 or 4. |
