Hello,

I am wondering about synergies.
For example:

I use Skill X and Skill Y as my primary skills. Skill Y has a +1 synergy to Skill X. When I now Level Skill Y, is it the same, virtually, as if I would add a level to skill X ?

Yes, and no. The Bonuses still apply for the effects on skill 2, but it doesn't count towards the level 20 bonus for skill 2.

For example if you have 20 talent points in skill 1 and it gives you 1 talent point to skill 2. Then skill 2 at 19 Talent points invested, (even though it says it is level 20) will not get the 20 point talent bonus. However it will get whatever percentage bonus it would normally receive for investing a talent point.

That being said, I think the skills need to have at least 1 talent point invested to receive any bonus points for hitting 20 on any other skills. Clear as mud?

Not totally clear, but let me try to answer as best as I can. I think you are talking about the +1 bonus from maxing a talent to level 20. Those bonuses are not applied if you have 0 points in that talent. Once you put a single point in the talent, then you can benefit from the level 20 bonus.

It would be nice if that was reflected in the UI. ie. The # of the talent itself was changed to blue or something with the correct value.

Ah great. That makes leveling a bit easier, as it allows you to spend one skillpoint and technically get two.

They're working for Chain lightning you have 3 Talent Points Invested and it says current skill level 4.

Edit: Oh I see your damage didn't go up on the actual skill tooltip. Interesting.

Ahh wait... the synergies are also a onetime level 20 bonus... ok

Ahhh, took me a while to see what you were getting at. Yes, the L20 bonus applies once, so once it hits 20 you will see Charged Bolts get +1.

Yeah, thought the synergies are per level, as they have been spaced out from the level 20 bonus. Too bad, would be cool ^^
