I have noticed this a few times while moving items from my inventory to my bank. I click on the item, the box goes red - I click on an empty box and nothing happens. Most times, just closing the inventory and bank screen works to fix this but once, I ended up with the item in the bank and the inventory and could do nothing with it. Had to log out and back in to fix.
