I may have just imagined this, and since I don't record my playing, I can't re-confirm without another drop where I'm attentive enough to see the item drop, but I believe the icon that shows the item going into my inventory is different from the actual inventory icon. I believe I saw this occur one other time, but I cannot remember what item it was.
tl;dr Pegasus Feather Drape drop icon differs from inventory icon.
If that's not the case and I was imagining things, I'm sorry it wasted time.

You are definitely imagining things. I will require video evidence of such a bug.

Alas. I've not dabbled in recording gameplay in forever. Not since RuneScape with shitty old hypercam. And that's even if I could manage to get the drop again. If it helps it looked like a white "cloth shoulders".
Maybe I'm just crazy in the coconut. It's a non-issue either way, hardly even felt worth bringing up, but I thought it might be a good idea to anyway. You know. Just in case. lol

Sometimes small issues can become issues, so I will definitely keep an eye open for this type of thing. Perhaps another player will notice similar behavior, too. If anyone else can confirm, that would be helpful.

Yeah, that was my line of thought. It might try to reference to something that's currently there, but later gets pruned if you decide to clean up unused icons for instance, then that might become a problem if it causes errors.
...Not that I know much if anything about programming, but I've heard of something like undefined references causing problems in programs before.

Okay, I wasn't crazy. I realised about 1 second after I saw the icon which item it was, so I didn't manage to get a screenshot. Lo and behold though, it was indeed the wrong icon that spins and flies into the bag. It looks like a white "cloth shoulders" as it flies into your bags, looks like a gold trimmed white cape in your backpack. I mean, it's really a non-issue that almost nobody will notice, but I noticed!

Ring/amulet graphics are totally random. Just like Diablo 2! Feel the magic. Hear the roar.

As opposed to this most dastardly of bugs, the different ring icons are not a bug. It's just like Diablo 2, where rings/amulets have different icons regardless of being unique. edit: Beaten to the punch.
