Well, here's one idea. I could mark known cheaters with an equivalent of a scarlet letter. Their name would show in red or something like that. On the leaderboard and nevergrounds.

Ok, I was like wtf and where can I get one! You should definitely take these folks off the leaderboards, thats for sure.

I'll probably make it show only to themselves. It makes them think they were successful. So basically like a shadow ban.

You could have a Hall of Losers. One that shows them in either a randomised each time or just indiscernible order so they can't even be top of the loser board.

I think either that or a big fat "BANNED/CHEATER" landing window if you click on their name. (Not that you'd be able to find them since they wouldn't appear on the high scores, you'd have to know their name.)

Adventure Quest has a system somewhat like that.

It'll get shadow banned when I get around to it. This type of hacking will make all of your characters perma non-ladder. Granted that my programming should also be less shitty to prevent this, but hey. It's my first game. Mistakes were made.

Eh hacks/glitches/cheats will pretty much always happen. Its how the community and developer(s) respond that is important. Youre doing well, man
