Characters were deleted, stash was wiped as well. However, I had over 4 million gold stashed that is still present. It's not a huge deal, but I got enough gold to upgrade whatever I feel like to level 10 without running out of funds. I had 6 or 8 level 99 characters (I forgot) in season 1. Kinda bummed I didn't at least get to keep my item stash though. I had some really powerful items with no level requirement that I used as leveling gear, and drops like this were far rarer than the rarest set or unique items. Equivalent of god rares in D2, or mirror tier items in PoE. I believe I had the level 99 with the lowest play time in season 1. How I did it was crazy twink gear that allowed me to max pull, indefinitely or almost indefinitely (depended on class, some are stronger than others) at lower levels. I must have missed the memo that there would be wipes though. Next time there is a character wipe, at least let us keep our stash, thanks. I did pay for those extra tabs. It's actually harder to replace those twink items I lost than to get a character to 99 without them. And due to RNG, there is no guarantee I'll get anything like them again. |
