Well, I do see one problem. I will have to lock drag and drop until both AJAX requests complete. You can easily dupe stuff just by dragging things around in your inventory/bank super fast.

Uh... off the top of my head... basically the faster you kill mobs the better. It does a calculation and sees how many mobs you killed in how many seconds. Rewards you based on that.

The max is 200%. Okay, I had to check real quick. I almost forgot. The combo rating system thing is purely a rating of how well you performed. There's no actual bonus from it aside from the score on your conquest tab. So it's just about bragging rights. The idea is to get the highest combo rating possible. I could even do a leaderboard for it later.

Alright... so to summarize... the Time Bonus percentage modifies the Combo Rating. So if you got a Combo Rating of 1000, and your Time Bonus is 50%, you get a 1500 Combo Rating.

Okay... here's what I had to do. If a player tries to drag and drop an item before the previous two items (AJAX requests) have not completed, it will simply cancel the click but stay in "drag mode" (where the border is flashing). Once it completes you should be able to drag. Unless you have really bad lag, this shouldn't be a problem. I might even put an error message if people are trying to click around too quickly for their lag.

Just pushed patch 47. Should have the latest goodies including a keep-alive pinger & checker to make sure the website doesn't let you continue playing with an expired session.

So if you click around SUPER quickly now with your bank slots or whatever, you'll notice it'll say Loading... if you click way too fast... just to indicate... hey... slow the %#$ down cowboy!

Okay, at this point I'm not really sure what bugs are left (plenty I'm sure). Re-state them here if you still notice them. I think I squashed most of them...

After completing Galeblast Fortress 3 in Nightmare, the rest of act 4 unlocked mysteriously. Galeblast Fortress 4 also had some of the mobs killed for the quest before I had killed any, almost as if it was saved from my last run on Normal or something.

Never mind! I was just on Normal. The auto-set to normal thing keeps gettin me.

Weird issue with the "Loading" text when moving an item.. I enchanted an item 10x and now can't move it from my inventory. Whenever I try to move it, it just says, "Loading".

Relogging seems to have fixed the issue - strange! I'll see if it happens again when I enchant another piece of armor.

Strange - I put an item in the bottom right corner of my inventory, same deal. Can't move it out. Keeps saying "Loading" until I relog then it's fine.

Ok - now pretty much everything is saying "Loading". Something is definitely borked with it. heh

Oh... I didn't consider that... I'll fix that now. I know what the problem is with the Loading stuff

I'm not allowed to leave the talent tab in the character menu when assigning talent points, kinda makes it difficult to gauge my stats while putting points in =(

Oh, duh. Let me fix that.

Yeah, something definitely needs to be done with either itemization or power curve. I'm actually doing less damage now then I was 40 levels ago - simply due to the fact that I need to wear more protective gear since mobs hit harder. Since most of the items I find are not strength based and/or lack any kind of life leech (the only way I can survive) I need to wear non-strength items.

Honestly, it's to the point where I keep hoping something will drop that I can use - but nothing ever does. It's certainly feels like more of a chore than anything else.. especially seeing how quickly Keterdar is able to grind out xp.. it's pretty ridiculous when you compare.

You think? I haven't changed item drop odds at all for server accounts.

I assume you're farming bosses? It's probably the best way to find goodies.

Post subject:  Re: The official Server Test Account problem thread

I was farming bosses for a bit - last zone on normal. It didn't pay off at all. The problem was I was level 55ish and only seeing items that ranged from L.17-30 (most of which weren't strength based).

Once I started on nightmare; a few zones in I began seeing more L.30 gear. Now i'm on Act IV and most of the gear I see drop is L.45 (I'm level 74).

Oddly enough, as mentioned. My weapon is L.38 and I'm using a L.26 shield because they're the best I've found so far. Needless to say, it's made leveling suck since the enemies are getting more powerful as I complete quests, but it takes me longer and longer to kill them every time I progress. Maybe I just have TERRIBLE RNG, but of all the drops I've seen (549 rare, 209 unique, 27 set) roughly 90% of them have been totally worthless to me.

Anyway! Started another alt to take a break from the grind and a feature that would be super helpful would be bank sorting.. so you could highlight items by stat type or qualification (usable or not). Hovering over all your bank slots works for now, but it's a pain. I am grateful it's a shared bank though!

Just my 2c.

Thanks for the constructive feedback. I mean bumping unique drop rates would be trivial, but there's a risk of screwing up the joy of finding the best items etc. Maybe it's just easier to make a class for the good items you do find lol. There is a lot of class variety so people will often feel they are getting loot that sucks for them.

Btw would you guys love a remember my email checkbox at login or what?

Post subject:  Re: The official Server Test Account problem thread

A checkbox at login would be fantastic!

Honestly, I'm just trying to find ANY good item for any class at the moment. If it's a 1h or 2h for my warrior - great. That said, nothing I've found stands out.. it may just be terrible RNG. hehe

Seeing the weapons some people have linked on the forums.. wowzers.. I'm in my 70's though and aren't seeing anything for my level at all. An improvement that would be great and may not break everything would be to have loot bands. So you can get stuff that is -10, +10 of your level. At least then you know it will scale and has the best chance of being an upgrade. Those super rare items will still be super rare. Just an idea.

I could definitely dink with the odds a bit that determine treasure class. I could make it scale higher more often (closer to mob level).
