Testing seems to show only the highest + damage is working (at least appearing on the dps summary). If I equip a ribcracker (+60 physical) I won't see any damage beside phy + magic. |

Believe it or not I think this is working as intended. I will explain why when my kids go to bed. lol |

Okay, I'll concede this is a bit confusing, but the way it works is it looks at your highest added melee damage and makes that the dominant elemental type. So if you have +50 magic damage and +30 fire damage, you'll end up with +80 magic damage since the magic damage is dominant. I did this to prevent registering single hits for every elemental strike. Note that these hits actually register separately! You'll see a separate pop-up for the +added damage, EXCEPT for physical which gets lumped in with the melee hit. See it all makes sense now? |

Tonight's patch (0-8-90) will add a visual particle explosion clearly indicating your +added elemental type. |

Sweet, that's a reasonable way of doing it. I would have only been sad if the other damage types weren't doing anything. |
