Reddit bans five subreddits Revolt against Ellen Pao I can't say I'm surprised. Honestly it only surprises me that they haven't banned more subreddits. There are "worse" subreddits than the ones they targeted. They've been converting reddit into a safe hugbox for years now. |

The part that boggles my mind is that most people will never even go to those subreddits unless they're okay with carte blanche free speech. Btw it's only going to make Reddit alternatives get bigger. I was also reading about how they are having a hard time generating a profit which kind of makes me laugh. What the hell are they spending their money on? They must rake in tons of advertising revenue. Edit: lmao, voat.co went down because it received the reddit exodus hug of death. |
