This is the first case in which the Feds have decided to go after a scammer. What could possibly go wrong? Personally, I think the responsibility is on the backer to vet the campaign, but that's just me.

In a perfect world everyone would trust the government and it would have much better control of every socio economic aspect of life. That's very far off though :/
