Whoa, you upgraded an item to 10/10? lol I have been told it is impossible, ya know.

On my Druid when I am killing multiple mobs once a mob dies in the group it makes my spellcast bar invisible for the next spell if I am spam casting spells.

This is being addressed.

When you are destroying items in your inventory just as you kill a mob and it drops loot, instead it will destroy the item that the mob drops automatically if the timing is right. It's a lot easier to accidentally do than you might think (e.g. killing mass packs of mobs and your inventory is getting full, so you go to delete something (and it can be anything, anywhere in your inventory, even at the top or middle when there is space further down) and if you destroy it within around a second of something new dropping, the new item gets destroyed rather than the one you targeted, which if you're like me, = destroying an awesome unique twice :D :/

Not just an item, but two identical items, so now I am a proud owner of two level 10 gauntlets :o

Since I have nothing else to spend my money on, at least on Normal, I have been using gold to upgrade uniques whenever I find duplicates or triplicates. The process is a bit boring, but I figure it will pay off when I have to face the big bad dragons at the end of Normal. For some reason, cloth items (mostly helms) seem much easier to upgrade than chain/plate items, but perhaps it's just the RNG having fun with me.

Time to ebay, bro!

Looking at this now. Btw, I have considered adding a "DESTROY ALL" button, but I'm scared of the nightmares this will cause.

Fixed by automatically canceling dragging when you get a new item. Not a perfect solution, but one I did in 5 seconds.

OK, so here are some final stats after a session spent upgrading all of my duplicate items until there was only one of each left (or 2 identical level 10 items if I got lucky.)

Unique cloth hats: 9, 8, 4, 9, 7, 10, 10

Unique leather items: 4, 9, 5, 9, 5, 8

Unique chain items: 3, 7, 4, 8

Unique plate items: 6, 2, 4, 6, 10, 10, 3, 6, 5, 5, 6

It looks like cloth hats are somewhat luckier than other items, but who knows. Another curious thing was that once I had a level 10 item and another, identical, level 9 item in my inventory, the 9-to-10 upgrade on the level 9 item was successful. Hopefully the code that checks that stuff doesn't get confused by the presence of a level 10 item or else it will be highly exploitable.

It first checks the number of treasure trolls on your computer desk. Our secret.

I feel like enchanters are at a bit of a disadvantage. I don't have a way to heal (yet?); I can meditate after I've killed all mobs except my charmed pet, but this leaves me open to in-combat ambushes, charm breaks, and it breaks my chain for meditating anyway.

You get shields later.

Got an exceptional unique drop. "Force Chain Gauntlets" and they are plate

Is that intended? First time I've come across these too.

All classes have the one handed slashing and two handed slashing skills on the character sheet, but cannot equip one handed swords.

On another note, I couldn't equip a "The Jade Tanto" which is piercing on my shaman either, and it has no level requirement. Shamans could use piercing in live. I believe every class could use piercing except Berserkers, and they could still use 2h piercing.

Nice catch. Shaman do not have piercing enabled due to an error. Enabled in patch 0-5-96.

Low delay weapons seem to be overpowered imo. As a 78 bard, I'm still using level 15 bladed thulian claws over mistwalker, ykesha etc in main hand. In tests with the three weapons, thulian claws do about 30-40 more dps with a high damage offhand. You may want to consider upping crippling values or giving a damage bonus to higher delay weapons a la EQ. Anyway, just an idea to keep weapons dynamic :)

I ran into a possible bug in Kedge 2 the other night: lots of aborted chains because the next pulled mob was non-agro and just sat there staring at me (the nerve!) There were no aborted chains in the other zones that I visited yesterday, so it looked like something was borked in Kedge 2.

Running into an issue in solusek eye 2 on my bard. Currently level 47 trying to just get through all the quests. I pull and plow down all the mobs for the first part. Then i have to kill singe and the bartender, except the bartender is the only one i can get to show up.

About 95% of the time i select battle or even track i get the bartender. Occasionally i get a kobold, or kindle (fire imp) or some other goblin drunkard but never singe. I have run this quest 4 times now and same thing each time. I even had one time where the bartender showed up in the regular battle but singe will never show up. Oh to add, i have also tried leaving the zone, doing another quest and coming back, logging out/coming back and logging out, closing the browser, opening and coming back. Nothing has allowed me to get singe to show up.

I've fought the bartender a few times in case he would summon singe but hasn't done so yet.

Also not really a bug but can we get a spell casting bar for bard songs? In the hectic D button mashing to keep mobs up and cycling through songs it's very easy to accidentally hit another song too quick and throw off the whole rhythm. I know the buttons turn blue when "casting" a song but it would be easier to see a timer bar counting down.

One question- Do bards use spell haste or skill haste (or neither?) to decrease the cast time of the songs?

Thanks

They use casting haste. I will check on those other issues. Thanks.

Idea, when creating a character, if you click on a class it blacks out the races that can't be that class? just one of those little things.

Not a bad idea. Never considered doing that.

After the last patch my combat buttons got rearranged and I seem to be unable to drag them back to where they used to be. Do you need more details?

That I believe is a temporary fix to help with several other bugs, I believe Maelfyn is aware of it and working to fix it.

The "placeholder" buttons are gone for the time being until I come up with another fix. The way the buttons hide/show is kind of stupid. On the bright side, it's now impossible to lose your buttons.

Ah, I see. Well, in that case here is something else you may want to consider as you work on this. The way things used to work, if you leveled up during a fight and received a new skill, the new skill's button would be placed in the top left position, pushing all other custom buttons out of the way. The first time it happened to me, I had no idea what had just happened and pretty much lost control of my skills for the duration of the fight.

Yeah, that's annoying. Should go to the end.
