Some questions, and some bugs I have found.

Yes, weapons will have procs. In fact it will be possible for even items to have procs, but I am still thinking about that. It will be quite rare for non-weapons to have effects. Intelligence can actually go far beyond 255, which I believe was the old school soft cap. Right now the stat cap is around 400.

I was thinking about standardizing what levels you unlock the skills. Right now there is some minor variation, but most classes unlock skills at 2,3,6,9,11,13,16,18,21,23,26,28,32,38. You'll see some variation with the melee classes, but I will probably standardize this later.

Good to know you're not finding too many bugs :)

Sounds great. Thanks for the spell level info. I know melee is close, But it has to be different, since melee classes don't only get fight spells, but they also gain skill's so that would off set it some. Like rogue dodge, duel wield, double attack, and more, plus the actual abilities.

Not to rush you, but you know we are excited, any timeline on if the update you mentioned for the weekend? Sometime tonight or is it going to be tomorrow?

Unfortunately I went to a video game concert this evening, so no progress this evening 8). Hopefully tomorrow, but Monday seems more likely.

lol I started playing a game in the game, trying to get as high level as I can before dying. So far my level 10 Necro hasn't died yet, and neither has my Ogre Shaman. I'm consecutively playing 4 characters in four different windows though, or they would be higher level by now. The necro once he gets the dot, and fear is probably the best chain killer next to rogue with backstab. Now that the necro has the big heal, I expect to get to 20 naked without dieing. Once I move to a zone where mobs spawn on you while your meddiing, I expect death will come swift, while I'm afk :P

new Bug i've noticed. Enchanter meditate with charmed pet does not appear, but the blank spot it should be in shows that it should be the meditate when you hover over it with your mouse.

Cool,

Don't know if it is an exploit or glitch, but Necromancer fear keeps the mob stunned for at least 5 to 10 seconds after fear wears off. might want to check it out, It might just be me.

May have fixed it, but not 100% sure. I couldn't really duplicate the problem, but I think I did find one problem. Let me know if you continue to see it after you reload your cache.

Seems to have fixed it. mobs come right out of fear and back into the fight. Didn't want it to be to easy on my necro :P Level 15 with no death :P

Had a Balance question for you. Why is it that the necro gets such a huge DD in bone spirit, but wizards ice bolt is half Bone spirits dmg. I know that it probably balances out later with Ice comet.

Assuming 200 INT and max evocation (230 for necro and 240 for wizard) at level 50, here's how it pans out:

Ice Bolt
Cooldown: 5 seconds
Cost: 28 mana
Speed: 1.5 seconds
Approximate damage range: 422-449
Effect: Slows target's attack speed for about 5 seconds

Bone Spirit
Cooldown: 9 seconds
Cost: 63 mana
Speed: 3 seconds!
Approximate damage range: 496-551
Effect: Nothing!

So Bone Spirit does, in fact, hit slightly harder, BUT it is really slow, the cooldown is almost twice as long, it has no effect, and it costs a ton of mana. In terms of damage per second it is quite terrible compared to Ice Bolt.

Remember that evocation is a big factor in the damage, so make sure you are comparing apples to apples.

I found a bug, remade my wizard to the High elf so I could get the racial mana regen. But it is not showing, and I've Alt left clicked refesh and it still does not show high elf racial :P just letting you know :D

yea I read your write up on wizard on the forums here, and Mirror image sounds sick, Meteor also. It will take a while to get high enough to see those, once Items start dropping in the game, leveling will be much faster.

When you add merchants into the game, if your going to let them sell Magic, rare, and unique I think you should make them expensive, because at 38 when I had my necro, he had over 40000 gold. With being able to sell loot when merchants enter the picture, i think it will make money easy to get. Just saying.

I don't think that's a bug. Mana and health regen are not actually indicated anywhere on the character sheet except by simply observing the tick in the health and mana fields. It's a passive skill much like troll's hp regen and ogre's stun immunity.

Sounds good, Didn't know if it was a clicky or not. High elf seems to be the way to go, even with erudite's having more base int.

found a "bug" that's pretty minor, so i'll just share it here instead of starting a new thread

muddites in the gorge of king xorbb currently have a minotaur graphic, but in EQ they look like mini clay golems.

Necro/monk question. is it possible to make Feign Death usable outside of combat as an afk button?, but not be able to meditate? Lol AFK deaths are annoying.. but that's my problem. Just thought it would be nice, and is how I afk in EQ live.

Enchanter Bug: if you charm flying mobs, like Drakes, or wasps the flying pet will not attack at all no matter how much health it has, full 35% or 10%.
