Apparently this needs to be a load screen protip. Comes up a lot. No, it makes your global skill speed faster. In other words how fast you can mash 1 as melee.

Now you tell me . So, attack haste and skill haste are one in the same?

I'm pretty sure that attack haste does two things:

1) Lowers the delay on your autoattacks
2) Lowers the delay that goes into calculating the damage for all melee skills (since skill damage is based on your weapon's damage ratio)


Skill haste on the other hand, lowers your "global cooldown" and let's you spam your basic attack skill more often.
