Dragonborn Hammer proc is working now. Appears to be 5 or 6 ticks of fire damage, 200ish per tick.
edit: Oh cool, the proc stacks if you get them close enough together.

Something buggy with SK pet image. Skeleton is fine, but there's a broken image link icon by his left foot, I'm guessing the shadow got wonked up.

Just finished Hell bosses on the Ranger. Hilarious. The only way to die with a screen full of baddies it with back to back fears pretty much.
I didn't notice that I was 2nd lowest Ranger to do it, if I got that bow earlier I imagine I could have beelined through it 5-10 levels earlier. It's ridiculous how much of a difference one of those weapons makes.

Just started a new warrior. At level 5 I remembered to look at talents. Was greeted by a talent page with 96 points in to talents already and myself listed as -92 points. Couldn't spend points. Going to town and resetting talents fixed it.

Yeah, Rangers are still plenty buff if they have good weapons and lots of Life Leech. My 94 Ranger has just graduated to Hell and I rarely have to heal or use a defensive ability. Well, unless I miss Iron Maiden, which still hurts. Since he has 0 deaths to his name, I kind of play him as a "HC lite" character

Boss fights are just hitting Volley then spamming rapid. Not even worth it to cast snare for the talented 25% damage buff.

Trueshot is where it is at. Volley can be buffed via trueshot talents to do more damage, and then you get stuff like this 30k dps inny and 49k dps Maestro. LOL

Ha, I had been avoiding Trueshot because the cooldown seemed too long for boss fights=P And now I'm too late to do truly broken DPS!

I guess I'm still the only SK around=P Makes some sense, the class took forever to be worth a fart in EQ too. Anyways, started writing this up on rerolled but it dragged on and made more sense to put here.
Ran through PoF for fun. Normal melee is still weak as shit, but SK with best weapon and gear is still a wrecking machine. Instead of mindlessly pulling 5 and crushing them with cleave it's much more selective pulling to try and get 3 together and whittling them down with cleave between smashing them with Gasping Frenzy. Still, the class(with elite gear) handles multiple targets no problem.
Pet is at best a distraction. Something there to eat a few hits. Except the class is draped in plate and built to survive hits, so the pet is basically a minor accessory that really changes nothing. The difference between me fighting with the pet and without is negligible.
Dots are worthless. If anything the DoT buffs made them worse for the class since the best thing DoTs add is the damage buff from 20/20 Heat Blood, so the shorter dot duration nerfs that. Other than that debuff, which is mostly not worth casting, dots are garbage. Any SK casting Dooming Darkness I would probably frown upon. It is a nearly useless spell. In every way. I am the baddest ass of bad ass SK's in this game right now. The spell does 1.1-2.2k damage for full duration. That's maybe worth the global cooldown to cast for a freshly leveled SK on a single target fight. Barely.
