i just got into hell a few hours ago and was wondering 2 things

1. were named/rare spawns nerfed to the ground in hell....because of increased champion spawn?

2. am i nuts or is everything and its mother that isnt a normal mob casting iron madin now

and if both are true then 1 makes 2 that much harder to gear up for

Well, they have an extra prefix so you will see more of every power. Could just be that combined with the fact that Iron Maiden is the most noticeable one along with Juggernaut. So you are actually seeing it more often, but it shouldn't be more of an increase in frequency than any other powers got. It's just that it sticks out like a sore thumb both visually and in effect.

i understand that.. i guess i was saying/thinking that with the inrease in champion spawns.. that would have to also increase the amount of times you get madian...

and gearing to overcome it seems off if nameds were reduced even as a side effect of more champs

i guess it just feels like i ran into a brick wall entering hell after having so much fun gettin there

Only certain rares have it, vicious champs, and...I think that's it.

non champion icy terrors in perma 4 cast iron madian.. so yeah i knew there was more then that

4 of em in a row have just cast it..as im currently in there

Oh, yeah... those specific terrors have iron maiden. It's kind of sprinkled here and there depending on the location. That's a pretty rough zone, so they got an extra goody. That's a pretty unusual case though. Typically it's for vicious champs or rares.

nothing better then killing vox in hell and watching 4 yellow items get destroyed lol

is this a bug? when i total up the resist firre on my items it comes to 72 but the stat screen only reports 29

just counted all my gear totals on resist and it comes out to

lightening fire cold magic posion
gear 84 72 109 89 51
screen 34 29 94 9 0

Nightmare difficulty? There's a -50 resist all penalty.

haha, hell has a -120 penalty.

Don't forget you're getting bonuses from quests too.

ya i know ya get cold from perma and fire from nagafan.. no idea where magic lightening an posion come from never paid attention
