Can you all post how you farm? Do you just farm Plane of Hate/Fear? Where is the best gear dropped?

Disregard all the ranger stuff. It's old and nerfed to ineffectiveness. I'll post a melee shaman farming video soon too. I gave my shaman all of my monks gear and he is simply a bad ass.

On my monk I actually like to farm in Hell Lower Guk 3.

I find that it's tough but if I pay attention and don't mess up I can pretty much get an indefinite chain going (my record is 450ish) and once you get into the 100+ pull range every "named" mob will pretty much drop a unique. There are a good number of named mobs that can spawn in LGuk whereas in the Planes you are just doing boss runs and not getting the chain pull drop bonus.

The potential downside is that the mobs are slightly lower level than in Plane of Fear/Plane of Hate (90ish in Lower Guk vs 94ish in the Planes) and I'm not sure how much that affects what loot I can get. I have gotten a few of the level 64/66 requirement items but I can't recall getting a level 68 item in Lower Guk so I couldn't tell you whether they drop there or not, I think that they probably do but they're just extremely rare.

And major bosses dont drop anything about 40% of the time it seems. I like this Guk strat. Castle Mistmoore is good for this too.

Have you seen any lvl 68 uniques drop from mobs in guk or mm? The strat works well for xp but I'm wondering if it works well for finding those elusive high level uniques.
