It's already in btw. Really doubt crit will ever effect DoTs. Just seems too lazy. Goes against the whole idea of a DoT imho. If they're still weak, just buff the damage.
I have been toying with the idea of making crit affected by diminishing returns, like haste, also. Just seems too easy to max it in the end.
It's not easy to max given that you have a number of other stats that require maxing as well. It is very difficult to get max out everything, and the characters that I have that are, use a mix of cloth, chain and plate to do so.

After a small test, it's unlikely that anyone would spec into DoTs with a necromancer even with these changes.
It's still like 600 dps all stacked up with 80 talent points invested.
