Let me raise the question... I am leveling a monk right now. I am sticking to 2h blunt at the moment. So far it easily out damages h2h and 1h blunt. Is this what I should expect throughout the process? I stuck with a big 2hander for the SK and it was much better than any sword/mace and board combo.

Can't believe nobody responded to this... at least based on what I have read from players, most seem to prefer dual wielding, so I was glad to see you chime in with this. I tried to design it in a way that both were appealing based on your talents, available weapons, general strategy, and so on. In most games I have seen, fast attack setups always seem to be more popular for a variety of reasons.

Can't speak for all classes but for SK 2H is clearly better. For any classes with skills that work based on weapon ratio the 2H is going to win out.
I ended up using 2H on the ranger usually as well for the same reasons.
