Hi all,

So I have been able to get my Monk up to level 97 and get some pretty great gear, but I am not hitting anywhere near 10k, and I am not able to keep myself up indefinitely against 5 mobs in PoFear. I am not sure if it is my gear choices, my talent set-up, my ability rotation or what...

Here is my current gear, I know i have a few holes, but I do have a few nice pieces and a great weapon...

My ability rotation is pretty much Tiger Strike then Crane Kick, using Cobra Strike and Dragon Strike whenever they are available.

Currently I am seeing my DPS somewhere in the 2.5-3.5 region...Any help you could give would be appreciated.

Just glanced at this and noticed something...my status effect duration reducing items do not seem to be getting Applied on the defense screen.

You might be at negative values. Are you on a higher difficulty?

Yeah I am on Hell difficulty. I knew that resists were negative on hell difficulty, but did not know other stats were too

As in not hitting 10k DPS? I don't think anyone is anymore. My SK is hovering around 2.8-3.2k usually. Used to pull 7k+ easily.

As for pulling 5 in PoF, if I get 2-3 of the wrong blue guys that goes south fast. Even with stun immunity and Vampiric Embrace.

Vamp Embrace barely works anymore. The attack that returns a portion of health back doesn't work at all on Nightmare. I can't imagine how bad it gets on Hell. I have basically given up on my SK. He is just a christmas tree i hang the cool shit I get on.

I am so used to my bard at this point I just like to jump on the SK to see how hard I can hit things with the new weapons I get.

Your normal melee as an SK is basically worthless. Using the 65/48 Hammer of the Dragonborn I'm hitting for 200-300 most of the time. You HAVE to get your crit up and be using a sick weapon to make VE/LifeLeech have any value. They'll only really heal you when you land the 4-8k+ crits.
