I may have jumped in too quickly, but it says I cannot create accounts until 1.0.
If I type my e-mail without a password, it says my password must be six characters long.
If I type my e-mail with a password, it says connecting then does nothing.

It said your e-mail with the link was only 4 minutes old when I first tried, so yeah, I may have jumped in a little too quickly.

It occasionally throws some red letters and numbers at me that don't make any sense, they flash before I can write it down, but it's similar to "r`oauth2relay9545".

On Chrome, version 40.0.2214.111 m

EDIT2: Created a character, in the intro now.

Ya, I realized I f'd up and forgot to unlock the front end. Back end has whitelisted accounts ready to go. My friend noticed the same thing and I hotfixed it.

Beat the first area, closed my browser, reopened it and everything worked fine.

I'll keep playing some tonight, then try logging in from a different location tomorrow. This is gonna be great at work, I sometimes have an hour of downtime near the end of the day, basically just waiting to walk out the door.

Yeah, I think a lot of people have jobs like that these days. That's how I should market it. Hey, are you bored at work? Play some nevergrind, dude.

My XP seems messed up. I just went (*Jumped*) from level 5 to 10. Is that supposed to happen just for testing?

Some bug. Let me figure out what happened. You just logged in and it doubled?

I was in the second area, and right as I finished it I just snapped up to level 10 from level 5. I'm in the third area now, my XP shows 2241/10586.

Yeah. Definitely a bug in how it calculates your server on the client. Play as normal. This should be fixed soon.

I completed another area and magically gained another 5 levels. I'll try to pay really close attention to see exactly when it happens. My XP now shows 3626/10586. (Killed a few things and now it shows 5163/30406)

I think it only triggers when you logout and log back in. It is basically calculating your exp wrong on the client side. I think it's actually correct on the server, but it's displaying and initializing wrong.

Ahh. I wasn't logging out and back in for the 5-10 and 10-15 jumps, but I just tried logging out and in and I went from 15-19.

EDIT: logged out and back in right after, still 19. Killed two things, relogged, still 19.

EDIT2: Finished the next area, right after I killed the last mob I was still 19. I clicked on the portal to take me to the next area and I was 20 all of a sudden.

EDIT3: Relogged without fighting anything after the game pushed me to 20, and I stayed 20 after the relog.

Also, sorry if I'm a bit spammy with this, I should have taken more time to get you as much information as I could have the first time around.

Basically the game does a "sanity" check when you login to see if the client and server agree what level you're on. Unfortunately that calculation is insane right now.

Try logging in now. It should be closer to your actual level now.

And how is Pharmakos level 2 but has a shitton of xp (1300+)?

Now he's level 2.. Hm. Maybe it's fixed.

Level 9 now. -11 Talent Points I had them all placed.

i loaded up just after midnight... was getting the bug.... about to hard refresh and see what happens.

edit -- yup fixed. i'm back down to level 7.

I gotta say... I almost jizzed myself when I changed to another browser and saw the same data. Very satisfying and surreal moment after developing for 2 1/2 years.

rofl. right on man. and i agree, that is awesome. i've lost my character data so many times over the last... jeez i started my forum account in July of 2013. so a year and a half.

this game has come a long way, man. i'm proud of ya.
