I haven't played in a few months (back in the EQ/Ranger OP glory days) until today. I created a test server character (Dryst) to get a feel for the new layout. I deleted that character to make my main, but the name is already taken.
Will the name free up after awhile or will it be taken permanently?

I have this issue also. Made a PH for 'hats' and now he's already in the leaderboard as a level 1 char.
Wondering if we can PM Maelfyn for a 'nuclear delete' option to free up the char.
