From 87 to 19 mid-fight, apparently

I have closed and re-opened the browser, still show 19

So my stat screen shows me as 87 but half of my skills are missing (these suddenly stopped working midfight) - char select shows me as 19

Help!

I'll have to fix this when I get home later. Obviously something screwy. Possibly even malicious.

After multiple log-ins, skills are back as are levels - phew

Any idea what happened? Sounds strange.

Although it says I'm in Fahlnir 2 with nothing on the quest list but map only has fahlnir 1 open

wow - looks like I am going to have to do 1 again.

Looks like I got rolled back to 19 and now it looks like I got rolled back to when I logged last night

The exp things makes no sense to me, but if you have spotty internet maybe it was failing to update your quest progress as you played. Though I am pretty sure the server is designed to disconnect you if it fails to talk to the server.

To be as exact as possible, I was fighting a negotiator in Fahlnir 2 when I was suddenly unable to use Martyr's Blessing, Mark of Judgement & Benediction - at first I thought my mouse had gone but it was fine, then I wondered if the mobs had become immune to my ways. I finished the fight off and then most of my skills disappeared. I camped out to char select and back in - no change.

I camped back out and noticed that she was now showing as level 19. Full log out and back in, no change.

Close browser and relog in, still showing as 19 on char select but showing as 87 in stat screen - still missing skills.

Start posting and re-login again. Show as 87 again and zone in fahlnir 2 but the quest list is gone (I had only just started killing there) - check map and it says fahlnir 1 is the only thing open, so go back there thinking that I just need to nip through portal but then it says I have to kill everyone again and I notice that I am back to where I was XP-wise which was just into 87 from last night.

Not going to play her until you have a chance to look at it - don't really want to crawl through Hell, being rolled back every hour or so =p

Now where did I leave that wizzy?

Very strange. Sorry about the asspain. I'll check it out asap when I have a chance.

I have an army of alts who have suffered while I tried to get cleric through Hell so it's a good excuse to play them =p

Just so you are aware, I decided to grind on a bit so she did Fahlnir 1 again and is now in Kordata Ruins so no huge worries =)

Very strange. It's tough to track issues like this unless it is highly repeatable. I'll keep investigating. Not sure yet.
