I also noticed the search box is redirecting to the wrong URL (adds nevergrounds in URL twice). Will fix tonight.

Alright. Just improved it again. It now reflects item data on the existing fields. For example, resists now indicate their normal difficulty values. Resist caps are ignored for the sake of indicating "true" values. A lot of "dirty work" was finished tonight. Should be fleshing it out more visually in the days ahead.

Rare kills are finally being tracked correctly. Starting now.

It's really starting to take form. It's curious to see how many items people have collected or how many times they've died. Is Beaster the crowned champ in most deaths? Poor guy needs a buff.

Right? I was about to swap over and try hardcore. And then I saw my death count compared to every one elses and reconsidered

To be fair, there are lower level monks then Beaster with 300+ and 600+ deaths. Not sure those numbers are accurate but it does boggle the mind. Page is really coming together!


The skill listing doesn't seem quite right. I think 2-handslashing might supposed to be 1 hand blunt (??). I've never used a 2 hand slasher as a monk.

Alright. Just squashed that awful character data bug... I'm really looking forward to fleshing it out further. I had to do a lot of dirty work last night to get it primed. The data is already "on the client". I just have to render it as you see it on the character sheet. The beauty is the code is the same, so I don't have to re-write that much of it. Just styling it for this page. I'm eager to see how it looks like with the talents and items up on the screen.

Alright, another big update today. It shows basically all the data I can think of right now. I plan to sex up column 3 and the talents need a lot of work (names and icons at least).

Maybe I'm doing something wrong/missing something, but I can't scroll past char 61 of the leaderboard in the Nevergrounds main page:?: Search works, so the lower chars are there...

Also nice update, it's looking better and better!!

Thanks, bro! I am thinking about adding another cool stat panel... maybe something like ... rank in a few different key stats... #75 overall, #5 ranger, #5 in kills. Something like that. But a panel full of it.

For a variety of reasons, I am shocked that google is finding AJAX-loaded content. It's even finding specific items people are wearing. I swear to God that google's crawlers are becoming sentient.

A followup on what I'm planning: I am going to convert the leaderboard and nevergrounds into PHP instead of using AJAX to update these pages. This should not only improve google's ability to index these pages, but also reduce its load time in some cases.

In practical terms this means that the leaderboard will now link directly to each view sub-section. So, for example, you could send someone a direct link to the hardcore wizard leaderboard.

Alright, bros. The new elite set tooltips should now be working at the Nevergrounds, too. I have tried to share code between the game and the Nevergrounds to reduce duplicate code that does the same thing. Kind of a PITA but worth it.
